We’re entering the peak summer months with a robust lineup of exciting projects on our modular production schedule. Our factory remains very active, with a robust project schedule extending into late fall and winter, though we continue to accommodate new work as capacity allows.
We continue to diversify our production with high-performance net-zero and Passive House residential projects, affordable and workforce housing, hospitality, multifamily developments, and select light commercial work. This broad mix strengthens our outlook and allows us to serve a wide range of client needs.
The broader industry is cautiously optimistic heading into the second half of 2026. Persistent low housing inventory, improving supply chain efficiency, and strong multifamily demand are driving growth. According to the latest U.S. Census Bureau and HUD data, overall housing starts rose 19% in June to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.43 million units — the strongest pace in recent months. While single-family starts remained relatively flat amid current mortgage rates, multifamily momentum continues to bolster the sector.
Mortgage rates, which dipped to a low of 5.98% in February, now sit at 6.52% for the 30-year fixed. Although the Federal Reserve has paused rate cuts, today’s levels remain far more supportive than the peaks of recent years and continue to support buyer demand and reasonable project financing.
